Never expect to receive
Anything more than you give
Only expect your own free will
And life is much easier lived
When asking the world for treasures
Know that the world has no self-control
As a rider of life in the land of the free
Know that freedom requires its tolls
Expect no more from a loved one
Than you yourself would be willing to pay
The giving of one's freedom
Is a gift that has its delays
Freedom can always be shared
And in a beautiful way, indeed
You be the judge
When someone you love
Holds out their hand in need
Relationships are just that
Two in relation to one
Freedom only starts
With the stability of two hearts
Only then will true freedom come
