“Full Circle”
That lady with the flat tire
That gentleman with the sign
May not be who they appear to be
They may be your test of time
To see if your bad day
Interrupts your Christian duties
Or to see if your faith is arrayed
Like one of God’s other beauties
The flowers bloom
Yet, depend on the sun and rain
To bring them full circle
In this cycle of loss and gain
How strong is your faith?
Would it be strong enough
To turn the crank on the jack
Or wisely give to a diamond in the rough?
A diamond starts out
As a simple lump of coal
We were created from dust
Then given a chance and a soul
Don’t take your chance for granted
Don’t let the day steal it away
Because everything comes full circle
And you just might lose your way
